The Mystery of God...

It occurred to me the other day that even if we were to at some point understand God in practically every regard, there is one aspect of God that no human can possibly ever understand. Caedmon’s call phrases it pretty well. “It’s the mystery of mercy…” I’ll never understand that… That He has so many reasons to just walk away and leave me in the mess I make. Yet He has mercy. That will be impossible for me to understand….
